The dreamiest day on the Russian River celebrating Kim & Mike’s wedding was one for the books and a love story for the ages.
Kim & Mike met in 2009 working together at the Bohemian Grove, falling in love in the redwoods and spending their first summer floating down the river. It was shortly after that Kim moved to New York City and they realized they couldn’t live without each other so Mike packed up and moved to NYC with her. Six years later Mike flew Kim’s best friends to New York and proposed overlooking the city with a stunning vintage ring.
When discussing where to get married the obvious choice was Kim’s childhood home and the redwoods that brought Kim & Mike together. This private estate sits right on the Russian River and was the perfect backdrop to incorporate their love for nature with classic & traditional details. As Kim & Mike put it – “redwood chic.” No detail of this wedding was overlooked, from hand dyed silk ribbon tying the bouquets to redwood slices with custom calligraphy to show guests to their seats. A canoe filled with beer was the perfect nod to river life!
