Morgan & Clark

Morgan & Clark’s California wedding was set at the Inn at Park Winters, a countryside Victorian mansion with sprawling gardens and lush greens. Morgan’s love for bright colors was showcased through the vast amount of flowers incorporated into each piece of the wedding. Her Matthew Christopher wedding gown was romantic with lots of lace and a unique champagne color. Clark’s mom even sowed the sash for the dress to add yet another personal touch to the ensemble.

The bride says:

“Clark and I met while both serving in the active duty Air Force at Travis Air Force Base in Northern California. I was a not-so-serious nurse and Clark was a handsome, officer and gentleman, pilot. I had a friend for many years prior to moving to California who ultimately ended up being Clark’s roommate. Through many get-togethers and introductions, Clark and I found ourselves inseparable. With countless laughs and mutual love for fun, family, and adventure, we knew we were perfect for each other.

Even though Clark and I would soon be moving to Philadelphia for Clark’s career, I knew I wanted to be married in California because it is where Clark and I met, fell in love, and started our lives together. Northern California had earned a very special place in my heart because the weather is perfect nearly all the time and the views the hills are spectacular. Park Winters is an adult fairy with lush green landscaping and flowers aplenty. The restored victorian home on the property is an eclectic wonder hosting amenities fit for royalty. I couldn’t have dreamt a more spectacular and special place to get married.

I have always loved bright and bold colors, especially pinks and oranges. I wanted my color palette to reflect my personality while also being elegant and appealing for everyone. My favorite moment of the wedding would be both of our fathers’ spontaneous and heart-warming speeches they gave to our guests. It was quite the surprise when my dad stood and started walking towards the sweetheart table with tears in his eyes and hesitantly reached for the microphone. His speech was exceptionally thoughtful, sweet, and perfectly delivered — not unmatched by Clark’s father who left us all with tears and bellyaches from laughter.

My advice for brides is to hire a coordinator to not only be your guide through the process but also your friend and confidant!”
